Strategic thinking "bootcamp" at Middle Eastern boutique consultancy

Challenge: Fast-growing business strategy and implementation consultancy did not have internal learning and development (L&D) resources or know-how to train 100+ new consultants in basic skills during their first year on the job.

Actions: Developed and co-delivered five-day consulting skills bootcamp to train new joiners on structured thinking, executive communication, presentation design and stakeholder management.

Result: New consultants leaving the training were better equipped to perform on client engagements.

Top team effectiveness workshop for ExCo of $1bn MENA food delivery app

Challenge: Leader in MENA food delivery space experiencing lack of trust among 10-member top team (CEO + direct reports) and absence of feedback culture in the organization.

Actions: Designed and delivered one-day top team effectiveness workshop on building trust-based feedback culture (using a 360-degree survey tool) among top team and extending that throughout the organization. Workshop included the following:

  • Personalized 360 reports sent confidentially to each participant one day before

  • Gallery walk of posters showing aggregate results highlighting trust gaps among top team

  • “Real plays” based on actual feedback received to build trust and practice giving feedback

Result: After positive feedback from CEO and other participants, client requested rollout of feedback training to all 400 people managers across multiple countries.
