About
I am Eli Gentle - an independent consultant, coach and facilitator with a dozen years of human capital experience gained from working with consulting clients and private equity portfolio companies across sectors and geographies.
I started my career at McKinsey & Company, where I managed engagements with clients in the Middle East and Europe on strategy and people-related topics for over six years. I then spent a year in Private Equity in Southern Africa, where I helped portfolio company CEOs design and implement comprehensive turnarounds.
I founded Gentle Consulting in 2022, while taking a break from corporate life to attend music conservatory - a longtime dream. My objective was to do the kind of people-focused consulting work I enjoy while supporting myself as a non-traditional student. While music remains an important part of my life, I now focus on supporting clients across finance, professional services, education and tech on questions at all stages of the talent and organizational life cycles.
